Oleg Maštruko

I am editor in chief and columnist for Croatian IT business magazine and website Mreža, executive producer of Mreža Smart Day events, conference director for business conferences and events. I am speaker, keynoter and moderator on various events, panel discussions and conferences; I write and comment regularly on diverse topics for various magazines, publications, TV networks, social networks and websites.

I love to travel, make photos and write about travel experiences and impressions. I published nine books on diverse topics from IT to photography and travel, and seven online travelogue projects. I did four solo photography exhibitions (old school, real world), and some group photo exhibitions.

Knowing how logistics of real world exhibitons can be complicated, and the reach limited, I want to explore the idea of virtual exhibitions, so here I am on Kunstmatrix....

The Smell of Ice

In the fateful year of 2020 I started my project Chronicles of Global Warming. The idea was, and still is, to document the changes in the environment and human lives in places that are hardest hit by global warming. The plan for Episode I was to cover the changes in the Arctic. This exhibition of panoramas from Greenland is one of the products of the project.
