Annemarie Hoffmann - About Animals and Trees

    01 May 2020 – 31 May 2020

Annemarie Hoffmann (Germany) is both author and painter. The core element of her paintings are trees. The origin of that goes back to her grandfather who worked in the woods to chop trees in the forest. For every tree her grandfather cutted, she wanted to plant a new one on her canvas. Annemarie Hoffmann calls herself a "Baummalerin", a painter of trees. Every painting she makes, whatever subject it may be, it is a composition of trees. The tree is the molecule of her work. The result is an artistic creation of fine painting where the details are a completely different layer than the whole picture. This fascinating combination of a micro and a macro world make her paintings very orignial works of art. This shows the different interpretation layers of a work of art. What you see depends on your focus.

Floor de Bruyn Kops - Lente : Landschappen, Bloemen, Stillevens

    01 May 2020 – 31 May 2020

Her work has a style of its own that strikes the viewer with its lucidity and sparkling colours. Floor de Bruyn Kops plays with form, composition, colour and layered structure, balancing between the figurative and the abstract. Floor de Bruyn Kops’ work receives national and international acclaim. Her work is part of the collections of many companies and institutions. After completing her masters degree in Dutch language at the University of Amsterdam, Floor de Bruyn Kops has completed the Academy of Art Ruudt Wackers in Amsterdam (1985-1989). Prior to this she took lessons with Stien Eelsingh, Johan Haanstra and Jan Sierhuis. Artist Statement Everything is connected with each other and at the same time everything is different. Painting is playing with shape, colour, structure, line and flat plane. Shape language is boundless. A small change results in a different picture immediately. In the art of expression you want to tell a story but it is also an artistic research. It is a journey of discovery and a search for something that perhaps never can be caught completely. As if it is a ribbon that unrolls further and further, each time in a different way. Each painting is an adventure. Painting is passion, happiness and letting go.

After her marriage, she abandoned the legal environment and resumed her artistic training by following drawing courses at the Art Center of Noumea, where she had the opportunity to work, as well with Michel Rocton, who taught her about sculpting. After living more than ten years on the Pacific island of Noumea, she returned to Paris, where she currently lives and works. All the years spent with the art masters of Noumea influenced her work, especially in regards to the use of a color palette made of bright, brilliant colors. which constitute the shape and the background of her work. Line Lubin

    01 May 2020 – 31 May 2020

My name is Line Lubin but I sign my works under the name of Linou. My journey really started in 2016 following the sudden death of my son ... Difficult moments, a deep descent into hell ... Part of me was extinct ... almost dead ... To try to revive it, I travel the world and feed on my travels. After touching the bottom every day, I decided to turn my pain into something bigger ... and it was my artistic creations that really helped me. Now, my life is devoted to creativity, and it is through art that it expresses itself most freely. I mainly use digital graphic art, digital painting and photography while continuing to create websites. Fascinated by dualism and polarity in all its aspects, I create an art combining roughness and delicacy, yin and yang, black and white, dark and bright, pixels and dpi, to create an experience, reinforced by augmented reality, in which the viewer can move between fascination and dismay. I want to share with you pleasure, joy, hope ... but also to call on your reflection and facilitate your introspection. So if you agree, let's share our feelings to bring out the best in all of us! I wish you a pleasant journey through my art!
