    EATING AN ELEPHANT

    16 Jul 2022 – 15 Aug 2022

My work comes from everyday life I encounter, the relationship that I have with environments. My work combines personal and intimate with drawings, text, small found objects which speaks to the process of finding deeper meanings from everyday procedures. I’m inspired by different ways of painting, to experience painting or art making in general as a reflection and solution of the living moment.

    Sempiternal

    12 Feb 2022 – 22 Feb 2022

“We are proud to be able to show an exhibition that takes the pulse of contemporary art, with creators of diverse nationalities and experiences, united under the umbrella of “Sempiternal”. This exhibition portrays multiculturalism, pluralism and the philosophy of the present, where the exploration of new concepts, new combinations and new scenarios take on more importance than ever. These are artists who explore their concerns and their aesthetics based on their experiences and their cultural environment. The detail and secret of each one of these creators is mixed with the energy of being authors presenting their works in Spanish territory for the first time. "Sempiternal" refers to something "that will last forever, that will have no end." In this same way our exhibition aims to remain in the retina of our visitors. Thanks for joining us." APPEARANCE

    18 May 2022 – 18 Jun 2022

Born in 1966 near Berlin H. Triltsch grew up in East Germany in Falkensee. Now he lives in Werder/Havel which is closed to Potsdam. In East Germany Triltsch worked in different artist groups like „Keine Art“ and „Salon Visionell“. They realized several art book projects because of difficulties with exhibitions in state galleries at this time. After 1989 he was able to exhibit his work in several cities of Germany and Europe for instance in Potsdam, Halle, Brandenburg, Hamburg, Zürich, London, Madrid and Wien. Since 2020 additionally he came to Illustrations and some Artwork for Musicians. Triltsch have always been fascinated by renaissance artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Dürer, Raffael and Botticelli and also other currents of realistic art. Nevertheless he is still searching for his own powerful and emotional visual language. “As a little boy I loved to draw while sitting at the gigantic wooden desk of my grandfather. I drew everything around me like stones, mussels, buttons, coins, plants, birds and clouds. This was my own way to discover the world. Now five decades later I still draw and paint with the same fascination observing the inexhaustible wealth of forms and colors in our world. Last week I was impressed by the shimmering light on an old leather sofa, yesterday I marveled at the beauty of wrinkled skin around the eyes of an woman and today I was amused about a flock of crows fighting over a walnut. Thus every day I always find new ingredients fort he next drawing or painting. Then working on it I combine different techniques of drawing and painting as well as themes from classical mythology and the Renaissance with my own experiences and perspectives.”

    EPHEMERAL III

    12 Jan 2022 – 20 Jan 2022

My installation works are based on abandoning the perspective of anthropocentrism and trying to look at nature from a "dehumanization" perspective. Caring for the non-human and shifting the human perspective to the non-human perspective, giving up the identity of the human subject. Breaking the classic Proposition that "Man is the scale of All things" Taking deleuze's theory of becoming animal and Kafka's novel Metamorphosis as reference, the sculpture installation is made to show the process of "affect" and the only way out for metaphorically becoming animal is the real generation.

    Indecisive

    24 Nov 2021 – 03 Dec 2021

Veez Ndulue- an autodidact, pencil hyper-realism artist, based in Nigeria, born in 1999. In the year 2019, he discovered his passion for art, but in the process of pursuit, he was uncertain of a particular field/genre to commit himself fully to. This made him experiment, digital and traditional wise, learning diverse art forms and skills. It took him close to 3 years searching for his voice, a lot of mistakes were made, a lot of sacrifices were made, and the good news is he learned from them. March 2021, he discovered his purpose and voice and he made peace with it. “As I end this year with this indecisive exhibition” it marks a new beginning for me in my art career new dawn.

    Beginning

    15 Jan 2022 – 24 Jan 2022

“My art history is only just beginning. I have been a creative person since I was a child, but I had no intention of becoming an artist and my profession is far from art ... A few years ago, it became clear to me that I would like to deal intensively with painting. I have attended workshops and online courses from various artists and tried different techniques. At the heart of my creations is the love for experimenting with different materials. The interesting thing is the intolerance of these. In this way, extraordinary textures can be created on the surface that are hardly possible to paint on purpose. Natural materials such as marble powder, lime stone, sand, champagne chalk, shellac, natural pigments and many others are used. Each of them has its own character and lives by its own rules. Without planning the composition of the picture, I let my intuition guide me and join the creative process - time and space no longer play a role. The exciting thing is the unpredictable - everything is not what it seems and everything is possible. It's fun to combine building material with artist material and watch how they react with each other. The joy of experimenting even leads me to let the picture literally burn. This creates textures that cannot be painted with a brush. I started experimenting with natural materials that are filled with the energy of nature and live their own life. In one year I did what I missed over the years. But maybe it was precisely these breaks in creativity that enabled me to understand what I wanted to say to the world with my pictures. When I paint, the world stops, problems and worries disappear, I'm out of time. I am a confirmation that a person can find his or her destiny at any age, in any place and in any condition. Each of my pictures expresses the impulses of my soul and the state in which I am currently, and thus always carries different emotions. Sometimes it smiles. Sometimes grieves. I want to pass on all these feelings. This is how souls communicate. Creativity is a very important part of life, it gives us our own comfort or, conversely, encourages action. Everything depends on us. It's great to sit in an armchair on a cold winter evening, covered with a warm blanket, to look at the picture of the sea, to imagine the waves slowly rolling onto the shore, the sound of the surf, the screams Seagulls. Or smile on a dull autumn day while looking at the bright colors in the picture and imagine that spring is coming soon, that it is just waiting in the starting blocks like a flower bud ... a little more and it will bloom. Works of art develop our imagination and bring new notes into our lives. I would very much like my work to help open souls. So that you can understand what my soul wants to say. I can't say whether my works can be called art. For me, art only emerges when the viewer goes on a journey over haptic surfaces, discovers shapes there that arouse his personal emotions and becomes speechless for a moment.”

    TRANSFORMATION

    18 Oct 2021 – 27 Oct 2021

Kevin Devonport is an artist based at Assembly House Studios in Leeds UK. Art has had a major impact in transforming his life as he originally learnt to paint whilst serving a prison sentence for drug offences. This can be seen particularly with his Trainers/Tarot series of paintings that highlight the different identities adopted throughout the course of life. Though he does not hold any artistic qualifications, with being self-taught, he does have a First Class Honours BSc in Sociology that can be seen to have an influence on many of his paintings underlying themes.

    Bardo

    01 Dec 2022 – 05 Jan 2023

BARDO takes its name from the Buddhism concept of “an intermediate, transitional, or liminal state between death and rebirth.” “Metaphorically, bardo can be used to describe times when the usual way of life becomes suspended...”1 This exhibition covers work done mostly between 2021-2022. Through mostly small-scale drawings and paintings the artist explores the relationships between personal history, loss, death, karma, rebirth — the process of departing and arriving — and art as a medium to access the intermediate state. Tat-Dat Nguyen was born in Vietnam, raised in the United States, and is currently based in Vienna, Austria. 1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bardo
