    "idioma visual" by a m a t o

He calls himself "a m a t o" according to his italian family name, born in Sicily and raised in Switzerland. After working in technical engineering for 12 years in the industry, he left to be trained in various art schools in Switzerland and the USA to become a certified art teacher, Yet after less than 3 years he started a career as indipendent artist/painter and worked as back stage painter for theaters and musicals or was just experimenting with small and large paintings. Finally in 2017 until today, he dedicated his entire time to produce art, first at home then in South Spain, where he lives now His paintings have been sold in the USA, Switzerland, United Kingdom Italy and Spain. b. What 'amato' is trying to do is the recapturing of the lost beauty humans once had before they fell victim to what he calls the "state of de-evolution". Beauty still surrounds us, but the language spoken through it has changed.

"I'm over the moon" by PINK B

"I'm over the moon" is the First Solo Exhibition of Pink B, an Italian artist (1992) who prefers to remain anonymous. The exhibition consists of 20 Digital Artworks with which Pink B shows himself to the world and reveals his vision without veils. Pink B is a multidisciplinary artist, coming from a background in music composition. He soon abbandoned the "classical" studies to specialize in electronic music and only later in painting. "I think that today an artwork must be open and should push us to an introspective analysis. While music is the best method to convey our meaning in an indirect way, painting and visual arts, on the other hand, succeed to be more direct. Why do we make art if not to convey our message? " The recognizable trait of Pink B are the tears, which are stylized in most of the cases. "Why are you crying?", says Opera 34. Which is like asking: "Why do a child cry?". He cries because, probably, he is sad or uncomfortable, but he is at the same time the happier human being in the world. With the same simplicity Pink B poses questions to us, pushing us to see the world with equal freedom and authenticity of a child. "We are all an alternation of joy and despair, constantly projected into the search of the right and the wrong. But these opposite attitudes do not perfectly compensate each other, in fact I think that our primordial spirit of happiness always prevails."

The Double Slit Experiment "on faces" by Bilge Ugursu

    08 Apr 2021 – 08 Jul 2021

Berlin-based surreal & abstract artist. Describes her style as figurative abstract expressionist and uses mostly mixed media in all her artworks. Developed her own concept, where she combines her classical paintings with digital art to create a smooth synthesis without any rules and conceptualizations. Therefore, her artworks are quite experimental with a contemporary spirit. You can see both brush strokes and digital pixels in her artworks and experience the unique perception of looking at a canvas and computer screen at the same time. She aims to give reviewers sort of a unique feeling even for a second instead of presenting raw aesthetics in her works. Uses lots of psychological and scientific metaphors as she has always been amazed by the intersection of art and science. Her creative artworks have been presented in many exhibitions including established international galleries. She will be featured on upcoming issue of the Flux Review art magazine.

'A Sense of Awe' by Patricia RAIN Gianneschi

    07 May 2021 – 07 Jul 2021

My work brings the viewer into a space where they become open to the forces of Imagination and Spirit. Art can transform us, can awaken in us a new awareness, create new sensations, and even new revelations, through Color and Form. I practice painting as an act of spiritual practice, entering with body and mind, searching for images wandering through the canvas.

‘My Palimpsests’ by Olga Goldina Hirsch

Olga is a British artist.  She left her native city of Moscow in 2011, imbued with the cultural memory that inevitably shapes the Russian psyche and forms the basis of a certain emptiness and hopelessness common to all. Olga decided ‘to rewrite the draft of her life’ and in 2018 she got a Master degree in Fine Art (City & Guilds of London Art School).  Her early works are full of ‘shadows from the past’ and filled with textures. On her paintings she is by the window, to which she returns again and again, until she decides ‘to escape’ and opens it to meet other worlds. Her language becomes more metaphorical, and more restrictive.  Through layers of whitewash over primed by black gesso ‘her palimpsests’ viewers may immerse themselves with fragments of drawings reminiscent of her past. In her present works there are no restrictions. She found quite magically that as her brush touches the canvas, her thoughts and feelings begin to take form. Olga has recently presented at established international galleries, and become a member of International Association of Visual Art, Florence, Italy. Her works are in private collections, including the Copelouzos Family Art Museum, Athens, Greece, published in art magazines and in numerous of exhibitions, of late, all virtual. Her painting has been chosen for presentation by Le Salon des Artistes Français, Paris, France.

"Resonance and Reflection" by Hideo Ohtsuki

    27 Oct 2021 – 27 Jan 2022

WOMENPHOTOGR, the first community in Greece dedicated to female, LGBT+ and non-binary photographers presents WOMANHOOD IS, a virtual exhibition which explores the meaning of womanhood through the thought-provoking works and words of twenty artists based permanently or temporarily in Greece. The exhibition is launched on the occasion of International Women’s Day March 8th, a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of femininities, an important opportunity to discuss about accelerating gender equality. The exhibition WOMANHOOD IS is contributing to the open debate about women’s rights and the rise of the #metoo movement in Greece and the world. 'Shake Dog' by Helga Borbas

I am a Hungarian painter, living and working in Vienna. I studied painting at the University of Pecs in Hungary and had around 80 exhibitions in various countries, including Hungary, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, UK , Greece, Austria, Slovenia and South Korea. My paintings are in different permanent exhibitions Alessandro Berni Gallery is representing my works on Artsy. https://www.artsy.net/alessandro-berni-gallery/artist/helga-borbas https://www.works.io/helga-borbas. My pictures are inner roads. Inner stage pictures – Imprints of pure emotional states. Nearly each of them is a separate character, single story in its own image-field, they are creatures existing in lurid situations. The bodies are twisting like a vortex, they are moving, and wrestling, blooming, decomposing, deteriorating, straining and softening, and they strain to the picture’s plane with an elemental power. This is a series about the vulnerability of the human existence, about life and death, about outburst and release. I have always been interested in the genuine inner truth, the bare, deeply pulsating, flesh and blood creature, that is a man of feeling, and with his thoughts, the exclusive anxiety of human existence. My pictures are, in fact, body-visions, ways of existence, visceral moods, battlefields. When painting, I rely on my own emotive memory. I am keen on the process itself, with random and deliberately created performance I wish to grab the revealing subconscious with harsh emotional intensity, a strong, instinctive, irrational load and I wish to know where I can put this process to a stand. I have always wanted to draw a line as a vivid, living nerve. I am fond of the inner struggle, tha drama of inner fight, this gorgeous shredding.

    "Useful Suffer" by Lino Lithium

Lino Lithium, 1985 born in Sittard NL. Graduated ABKM 2010. Without suffering there wouldn't be art. Suffering is useful. In my conceptual art I create to self-express, not to make a product. The suffering both physically and psychologically has become meaningful. The macabre of my work reflects my emotional journey. A true self transformation as I went on a journey within my own soul and body. After having had personal suffering as subject and it has made it's way for healing, the focus will shift. Exploring the thin line between life and death, what it means to be alive. The connection between lust and pain, opposites full of contrast and symbolism. Without dead life has no meaning. The materials I work with are all natural. Real pigs blood, tissue, bones, tree branches I find in the woods etc. I tried expressing myself first with paint but that didn’t cover the intensity and meaning of the subjects I was expressing. Paint fell too superficial, literally because it only covers the surface when the problems I was facing lied deeper within my body, deep where my blood flows.
