Virtual gallery - „UNSEEN PROJECTS”

Aim: to create a virtual gallery with interesting, unseen, competitive projects.

The gallery was created in cooperation with VAA Vilnius Academy of Arts, https://www.vda.lt/en/ Lina Koseleva - Head of International Relations Department lina.koseleva@vda.lt and funded by the KUNO Nordplus network comprising 18 Nordic Baltic fine art academies. https://www.kunonetwork.org/

PALANGA KURHAUS - VAA STUDENT PROJECTS - ( LT )
Palanga, Lithuania - Kurhaus Kurhaus, a symbol of the resort, is associated with the dynasty of Counts Tiškevičius. Count J. Tiškevičius in about 1877 built a spacious restaurant on the corner of the current Vytautas and J. Basanavičiaus streets, which was soon expanded and the first resort hotel was established here. Kurhaus has become a popular and popular gathering place for holidaymakers, because there was not only a restaurant, but also a reading room, billiards and other games rooms. Dances, performances and concerts were also held in this building. The symbol of Palanga burned down in 2002. Part of the brick building has begun to be restored in 2012 and completed in 2015. The second wooden part was rebuilt in 2019 and is to be completed by 2021. At the request of the project authors, VAA Vilnius Academy of Art, Klaipeda Faculty, Interior Design third-year students in the spring semester of 2020, prepared interior design ideas, which we offer to see in this exhibition.

Studies at Art Academy of Latvia Started in 2018 Lives in Riga, Latvia 1. I am honoured for opportunity to make this alphabet with other Latvian illustrators to be exhibited in kids hospital to spread some love! Each letter represents a wild animal that lives in Latvian forests, rivers and fields. 2. Album cover for band "colormaze" on their first upcoming album “ENTER THE MAZE” 3. Poster for “Sapnis vasaras naktī” (A Midsummer Night's Dream) -A comedy written by William Shakespeare in 1595/96. Theatre play and also an exam in directing taking place at “Zirgu pasts”, for my friend and director Henrijs Arājs. 4. Satorilv publishing featuring 13 poets and 13 illustrators. This illustration represents the poem about boy who fights his thoughts and doesn't want to let them go, but they are slipping anyway. 5. “It’s a choice” One of the variations I did for “FSC” course, whose mission is to educate and empower kids to lead a fulfilled life.This illustration is meant to support the concept of Your Perspective is Your Reality and that everyone has a choice! 6. Project about love for basketball 7. Project about girl playing flute, laying in a bowl of Tom-Kha soup 8. This is Leo.We go way back to skateboarding and just having fun together. He works hard for what he believes in and I believe in him. Nothing but respect, with living and loving what he is doing across the globe, I know that success is on the way for this young man! 9. Representing idea of famous Latvian writer Andrejs Upītis, who main story character “laimes lācis”/ “lucky bear” was about bringing happiness. To me, it's women who surrounds me, my dear grandmother, mom and girlfriend 10. 11. 12. My illustrations are published and shown in black & white, this time for @satorilv new publishing “paģiras” (hangover). Which present the story about falling in love and feeling weird about it

Posters made as an addition to the architectural competition project “Tokyo Music Center” in which the author participated by presenting the architectural project together with the visual style. The all works shown in this exhibition were done while studying at VAA - Vilnius Academy of Arts, Lithuania IEVA MARIJA REIKALAITE-(LT) 2011 - 2015 studied and completed undergraduate studies at VAA Vilnius Academy of Arts, Lithuania, Klaipeda Department of Visual Design. 2015 -2017 studied and completed master's studies at IADE - Creative University, Portugal Prize founded by the Rector of the University of Arts in Poznań - 2 500 PLN IEVA MARIJA REIKALAITE-(LT), Tokyo Music Center ISPB Poster Biennale Lublin 2015 Special prize founded by the Rector of the University of Arts in Poznań - 2 500 PLN Bienal Internacional de Cartel en Mèxico work selected for the exhibition in October Golden Bee Global Biennale of Graphic Design 2016 work selected for exhibition in Moscow in September 2016 She currently lives and works as an artist in Lisbon, Portugal.
