The FLUX Review - Teresa Wells

    08 Jun 2021 – 07 Jul 2021

Teresa Wells creates emotive figurative sculptures in bronze, that celebrate man’s physical and emotional survival over adversity. Inspired by the question “How do Humans Behave”, she draws inspiration from the contours of athletes and ballet dancers to emphasise a physical strength, placing them in precarious poses to stress fragility. When combined with geometric architectural supports, in steel and stone, she shows a contemporary approach to bronze, lifting it off the the plinth and making it appear less monumental and traditional. Well's is a capable project manager, experienced in collaborating with mechanical and structural engineers, to safely install both private and public works of art including the restoration of Thomas Telford for Shropshire County Council , The BBC and NetFlix and The Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground, Chelsea School of Arts. She has a successful track record working with private clients and interior designers in the Midlands and Shropshire, to commission and brief. With work featured in permanent collections worldwide, her clients include the BBC, Netflix, The Robert T Webb Sculpture Garden USA, SAATCHI, Shropshire County Council, The Devon Sculpture Park, BLOCC Interiors (formerly Connections in Design Ltd), Inside Right Ltd, AK Designs, and numerous private collectors and commissions.

    The FLUX Review - V2 - Part 2

    04 Jun 2021 – 03 Jul 2021

The FLUX Review - Magazine, artist interviews and exhibitions. The FLUX Review loves visiting physical exhibitions and arranging events in collaboration with www.fluxexhibition.com. However, we understand the need for artists to share their work and art lovers to discover, enjoy and collect work differently - especially during times where restrictions make arrangements more difficult. This project will enable artists and art enthusiasts to connect virtually. Visitors to the online exhibition will be able to navigate around the space or take a guided tour. If artwork is selected, information will be visible about the artwork, artist and links to the artist's website. We will be launching exhibitions every few weeks and hope you will enjoy these visual experiences. If you would like to submit to our next virtual exhibition visit our submission page. www.thefluxreview.com
