    Esther Siegel

Esther Siegel Esther Siegel's “late in life artist” emerged from the scrapbooking world. From there she expanded to unique greeting cards and into ‘found art’ sculptures. Her pieces are a mixture of the whimsical and dark humor. They include Book-Mobiles & Book Art, Twisted Toasters (vintage toasters as the base), Horse People (horse/doll combo), fun repurposed sculptures, small lamps and Altered Barbies. She describes her creative process as sometimes very slow and frustrating, going through many variations on a theme before settling on the finished piece.

I have been painting all my life, and I enjoy a variety of art mediums. My inspiration comes from color, light, and nature, and sharing my work is a joyful experience.

SANDY OPPENHEIMER is a self-taught artist who “paints with paper” in an intuitive and playful manner. She takes her inspiration from the great artists of the past, beautiful handmade papers from around the world, and from the fortunate life she leads. After 20 years in Italy, she returned to northern California where she continues to develop her visual vocabulary. She has received the A.D. Abramson Award locally, a grant from the George Sugarman and the Ruth Chevon Foundations, nationally, and was chosen internationally as an artist in residence at the MinoCityArtPaperProject in Mino, Japan.

"Every picture tells a story". My themes and various techniques are in response to events in my life as well as my mood as I create art. Living in Mendocino, diving in the Pacific Ocean, gardening and making art at my studio at Big River Farm are inspirations for expressing my appreciation for beauty in nature. My storytelling is visual and I love to play with color and composition with painting and printmaking.

    Larry R Wagner Photo Art

My goal is to create images that let the viewers experience something unique, to provoke thought, to experience an emotion, or to be enthralled with beauty. A vision requires not only the manipulation of color, contrast, light and shadow, focus and blur, but, often manipulation-removal of distractions or the addition of the unexpected. This challenge drives my photography. This show is a display of my favorite images.
