How does audio enhance the enjoyment of art?
Audio creates a certain immediacy and intimacy. It allow visitors to immerse themselves deeper into the fascinating stories behind the artworks and experience their meaning in an immersive way. It is also an welcome accessibility feature for your audience.
Why is an audio guide a welcome addition to your exhibition?
In today's world of art exhibitions, audio guides have become an indispensable companion. While traditional audio guides had to be created manually and therefore had been unaffordable, the Kunstmatrix Audio Guide Assistant offers a number of practical advantages and makes it easy and fun to create one. It also allows voice overs in different languages to open up your exhibition to an international audience—without any additional effort.

How to use this new tool:
- select works (select/un-select all), leave out info texts and props)
- generate the texts by clicking the "Generate audioguide text"
- edit the text(s) if necessary
- generate audio from text (requires KMTX credits*)
- READY: the audio guide is now available in the exhibition
- (Optional: download the audio files)
Please note:
- The voice-over of the audio guide replaces the normal, silent tour.
- Currently, the number of artworks is limited to 15 per exhibition due to technical reasons.
- If a separate audio file has already been assigned to individual works of art in the exhibition, no further files can be added for the audio guide.
- The audio guide files are currently NOT visible in the artwork form.

The creation of the audio guide costs KMTX credits and is charged per audio file created. A number of credits are included in your current subscription. These are renewed every month and you can see them in your profile under "manage subscription".
