Changelog

Art.Spaces now offers more flexibility when curating exhibitions. The previous hard limit on the number of artworks per room has been removed, allowing exhibitors to place more works within a single room when needed. We still recommend using a reasonable number of artworks per space to keep exhibitions clear, accessible, and smooth to navigate.

Art.Augmented for iOS has been updated to make artwork viewing more accurate and easier to use. Artworks now appear closer to their real-world size.

The place button now stays out of the way when viewing a piece, and pinch scaling displays a clear percentage, making size adjustments easier to understand. The welcome screen also includes a QR code scanner, allowing users to directly access exhibitions and selections.

Artwork placement in Art.Spaces is now more flexible. You can drop new placeholders on nearly any surface within an exhibition space.

This gives you more freedom when placing artworks and allows you to curate exhibitions more independently from the default placeholder layout.

Mobile and touchscreen navigation in Art.Spaces has been updated to a more familiar 360° panoramic navigation mode. Visitors can now explore 3D exhibitions in a way that is similar to other 3D environments such as Google Street View or Matterport scans.

Keyboard navigation in Art.Spaces has been improved. Users can now move through a space using the arrow keys, either on their own or together with WASD. Artworks can be selected with Space or Enter to open more information. Additional shortcuts are now available as well: press K to start or pause a guided tour, and F to toggle fullscreen. These controls have also been added to the help panel.

Teachers can now upload up to 250 artworks in a Class Package, increased from the previous limit of 150.

You can now choose how you pay for your subscription. In addition to PayPal, we’ve introduced credit card payments via Stripe. This gives you more flexibility and makes managing your subscription even more convenient.

We have improved the FAQ search to help you find answers more efficiently. The “Search FAQs” filter now searches both article titles and full article text. This means more accurate results and less time spent searching!

The drag-and-drop workflow is now available in 3D Curation mode as well. You can drag and drop an image directly from File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS) onto one of the placeholders.

You can now drop image files directly into your Art.Depot on the “Manage art” page. The new drag-and-drop feature allows you to upload multiple files at once from File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (macOS). Images larger than 5 MB or 5000 px will automatically be downsized.

We have refreshed the table filters in Art.Depot to be more intuitive and fully mobile-friendly. This update also sets the stage for adding more powerful filtering options in the future.

Clicking on a title opens the exhibition directly with the selected artwork as the target—making cross-exhibition management much smoother.

Super useful for curators juggling multiple shows.

You can now export the list of artworks from any exhibition directly to an Excel file—including thumbnail images! This makes it easier to archive, share, or manage your exhibitions outside the platform.
