    Wonder

    15 Aug 2020 – 09 Sep 2020

Two painters, Nat Anderson and Peter Roux, each deeply in touch with the natural environment, take a unique approach to revealing the wonder of the ambient landscapes in which they live, and in turn reveal their own visions of beauty. From brooding melancholy and shimmering light to vibrant playfulness, both bodies of work share a vibrating dynamism that the artists have encountered, understood, and revealed in their own unique way.

Don't Think Twice by Andrew Antoniou & Paul Thomas

    20 Jun 2020 – 03 Jul 2020

"Bob Dylan, his songs and poetry, has been a part of our vocabulary of images for over 55 years, since the early days of the folk based protest songs through the electrification of the music that married his stream of consciousness lyrics to rock and roll and all its incarnations. Those images have been moving through our psyche transmuting with time and demanding a place on the page and on a welcoming wall in full view of those, who will hopefully, relate to how we have experienced this epic body of work from one of our greatest Nobel Prize winning poet musicians. Paul Thomas & I have known each other for 50 of those 55 years and we thought perhaps now is the time to start our conversation through drawing, of where Dylan has led us in those 55 years"

    Ethereal World

    04 Jul 2020 – 26 Jul 2020

This exhibition explores, in a sensual way, movement and stillness; isolation and engulfment; the personal and the global, especially as developed under recent environmental and medical world events. The work invites illusions where figuration and abstraction exchange and engage in ways that transport the mind from external reality to an internal one, to moments beyond language, to an ethereal world of “in-between”.

    Where the Light Is

    12 Sep 2020 – 09 Oct 2020

Jasmine Mansbridge says of her work - I have poured myself into this new body of work and it is always an emotional thing to come to the end of a process in which I invest so much energy. As the title suggests the exhibition started with an idea in which I could talk about growth, change and metamorphosis and somehow visually represent all the ways this can happen.I could never have predicted that in the time between starting the paintings until now (roughly six months), so many things would change on a large scale with the impact of the Australian bushfires etc.. and then on a global level with the coronavirus now affecting so many people’s plans and livelihood’s. My own personal life has also seen significant shifts, challenges and opportunities, all which are forcing me to expand and learn more about myself and my place in the world. Veronica Green’s mixed media work full of dense and bright colours, shiny materials and a pinch of fluorescent paint, these are the ingredients that allow the New Zealand artist living in Venice Italy to open up to us the doors of her enchanted world. Once immersed in this magical universe, the symbolic elements and thus the many cultural references will show us the way to decode reality, “Where the light is”
