ReConnect with Nature

02 Feb 2021 – 30 Apr 2021

B Extraordinaire Gallery is excited to announce the art exhibition "ReConnect with Nature" will be held at both Missouri Athletic Club locations during February and April of 2021. This exhibition highlights the talented artists at B Extraordinaire Gallery. After the challenges of the last year, 2021 is a time to reshape, restore, and "Reconnect with Nature" and our place in it. Being in nature, living near nature, or even viewing nature in paintings can have positive impacts on our health and well being. Viewing nature produces positive emotions and calms our nervous systems and helps us to cultivate greater happiness, creativity, and resilience. Nature helps us understand we are part of and connected to something bigger than ourselves. B Extraordinaire Gallery, A Place for Artists to Share Art is an online gallery that provides a platform for local artists to share, inspire, and sell their art and to provide collectors, young or experienced, access to affordable original art. B Extraordinaire artists are committed to making art a part of daily life and strengthening the appreciation of original art in our St. Louis community and beyond.

Luminosity

01 Oct 2021 – 30 Nov 2021

Luminosity The Luminosity Open Call invited submissions from 2D artists from across the nation. Nearly 200 artworks were submitted from across the U.S.A. and after careful selection by our jurors, Carol Shepley and Virginia Becker, 62 pieces were selected and hung in this exciting exhibition. 55 artists have work exhibited, reflecting a broad range of subject matter focusing on Luminosity. Luminosity is the state of emitting or reflecting bright light, most often light that comes from within, light that makes its source/subject visually distinct and clear like dappled light in the forest, sparks of light in a night sky, sunlight simmering on the water, or light reflecting on a face. The artists represented in this exhibition have used intensity, purity, and vibrations of light to create luminosity. Enter the gallery to be immersed with light and color. You are invited to contact B Extraordinaire Gallery directly for sales inquiries at bextraordinaire@gmail.com. The Luminosity Art Exhibition runs from October 1 – November 30, 2021.

Order/Disorder

01 Nov 2022 – 30 Nov 2022

“Deep in the human unconscious is a pervasive need for a logical universe that makes sense. But the real universe is always one step beyond logic.” ― Frank Herbert, Dune Opening November 1!! B Extraordinaire Gallery is pleased to present the ORDER/DISORDER Online Art Exhibition from November 1 to November 30. This national juried exhibit is juried by Virginia Becker and Giselle Obermeier. We asked artists to explore order and disorder through their artwork. Order and disorder are an integral part of the natural world. There are many ways to interpret the meaning of order and disorder in art. The laws of the physical world tell us that orderly states move toward randomness, disorder, and dissolution.
