Sep 29 2010

Dear friends of Kunstmatrix,
dear Sir or Madam,
ladies and gentlemen.

Following the summer break, we are now ready to move on. As Berlin days slowly turn gray, the world of arts gets all the more colorful, and the first fall storms carry the news of this year's most important art weeks. Having returned from China and Shanghai's ShContemporary 10, where we introduced ourselves to an international audience, we are now looking forward to the immediate entry into KUNSTHERBST Berlin 2010 für Kids. As partners, we will set up virtual exhibition rooms for this event.
In addition, you can try some new features on our web site: A more clearly-arranged home page and the new possibility to enlarge our works of art is waiting for you.

Kunstherbst 2010 Berlin für Kids

Kunstmatrix creates virtual space for KUNSTHERBST Berlin 2010 for Kids

We are glad to accompany this year's KUNSTHERBST Berlin 2010 for Kids as partners for the first time. Focusing on the topic of “Nature in the Fine Arts“, this festival will take place from September 27 to October 2, 2010 in numerous places of Berlin's art world. We will do what we do best and design a three-dimensional, two-story exhibition building providing about 5400 m² of virtual presentation space at www.kunstmatrix.com and the Institute for Arts and Media Management of Freie Universität Berlin. This will allow for an interactive participation in the event via the Internet. All week long, you and everyone interested can follow the results of all artistic works in these rooms.

This art education festival will be organized by the Institute for Arts and Media Management of Freie Universität Berlin. It will give pupils and students from Berlin and Brandenburg the opportunity to explore the world of contemporary arts in art tours and workshops, accompanied by artists, collectors, dealers and curators.

The festival's highlight will be the final presentation on October 2 at the Stiftung Starke, where a joint virtual exhibition will be staged live as well as online within the Kunstmatrix. For us, KUNSTHERBST Berlin for Kids is an ideal platform to present the many possibilities of the Kunstmatrix to the art-interested public. We are looking forward to this partnership and cooperation.

Dagmar Boeck, Managing Director of the Institute for Arts and Media Management: “In cooperation with our partners, we want to make a concrete contribution to aesthetic education, creativity and the communication of art. Working with the Kunstmatrix gives us innovative possibilities for the use of media in the communication of art.“
